I strongly believe that communication is power. We live in such a diverse society that we have to be able to interact and communicate with all different types of people. Communication is the basis of human interaction, so if one is effective at that then he/she can conquer anything. Having this basic skill can change the way you are perceived and the way you think about differences. This is a great trait to have in the public relations industry because our duty is to inform the public about a good, service, and/or idea. We HAVE to be a powerful communicator – because at the end of the day, communication is all we have.
